Working group Seeds and Plant Varieties

The WG Seed and Variety deals with seed research, certification, and marketing. Seed quality is crucial for plant germination, growth, and yield. In view of future food security and possible extreme weather conditions, seed quality plays a key role. The working group provides a platform for experts to exchange ideas on topics such as genetic resources, seed quality, phytopathology, and plant breeding.
